Narrative Narrative

This Gurkha figure is a Cyber-Hobby exclusive, representing a Gurkha of the 1/7th Gurkha Rifles during the Falklands War. It is the only Cyber-Hobby figure I have bought (so far!) and the only figure that's still in the box.

Most of the kit is the same as Graham's but there are also a couple of unique items: the kukri is fantastic and includes the small utility knives; the head sculpt is top quality and looks very realistic; the rifle green beret is a good colour match. A couple of small details let an excellent figure down, but do not overshadow the plus points: the badge on the beret is wrong - instead of the 7GR badge a Royal Gurkha Rifles (RGR) cap badge is supplied (the RGR was an amalgamation of the Gurkha regiments and not formed until the 1990's); and the puttees should be black for the Gurkhas instead of the khaki as supplied. I also think a helmet should have been included. Overall I'm very impressed with the figure and glad to have it in my collection.
