NEWSSpokesperson: Pakistan against military action against Iran
ISLAMABAD, March 5 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan said on Monday it hoped that there would be no military action against Iran as it would have disastrous consequences economically and politically for the region and also for Pakistan.
"Pakistan is against use of force or threat of use of force against Iran and want resolution of the issue through negotiations," Pakistani Foreign Office spokesperson Tasnim Aslam told a weekly news briefing here.
